So, it's probably quite obvious that I have stopped playing Crawl. Part of the reason was that I was extremely frustrated and annoyed after my last loss and sick of playing a game that was actively trying to make my life miserable. I also found that in order to play well, I had to play constantly. If I took a few days off to do anything else, my playing would suffer when I returned. As the year went on, I realized I did not have the time commitment required to become good at Crawl.
All of this means that I stopped playing Crawl. I think it was a good set of games, as I was able to finally obtain runes on a semi-regular basis, and I could tell that I was playing a lot better than previously. I still have not finished Crawl, but perhaps that will occur someday in the future.
