       Shot with an arrow by a centaur on Level 5 of the Dungeon.

Not a very exciting game. I did not find any interesting items and discovered that fighting a centaur with a crossbow is not the best plan. It works most of the time, but it can really backfire as in this game due to the fact that the centaur will get multiple shots off to each shot of yours.

When I fired, I had 38 hitpoints. The last shot did 13 hitpoints of damage according to the morgue file, which means that the first arrow did 25 hitpoints of damage. Of course, I was five steps away from the centaur, so it is unlikely that I would have survived walking up to it. I guess I should have used a wand.
